Priyadarshni Academy provides educational scholarships to the deserving and financially needy school and college students in the Medical, Engineering, IT, Education, and Architecture fields.
The Academy has not only givien a helping hand to those who have no means to support their learning process, but has also provided great impetus to individuals to excel in their chosen fields.

Below is the Eligibility Criteria for :

Eligibility Criteria :


Applicant must have completed the First Year in Degree College with a high perfomance.
Acedemic record with 1st Class Distinction.
Age not exceeding 30 years.


Family income not exceeding Rs. Two Lakhs per annum.


Course must be pursued in a Government recognized Institute and must lead to the Degree in Bachelor of Engineering / Information Technology of any Government recognized University of India.


Application must be supported with S.S.C. , H. S.C. marksheets.


The decision of the Academy in the selection of Scholarship will be final. If compelled to do so, the Scholarship Committee can withdraw a scholarship for good reasons.




B. ED. STUDENTS



Eligibility Criteria :


Eligibility Candidates will be those who are committed to pursuing the profession of teaching in an educational institution and who possess an aptitude for the same.


Academic background should be excellent - 1st class graduate.


Applicant should possess leadership qualities.


Age not exceeding 30 years.


Family income not exceeding Rs. Two Lakhs per annum.


Course must be pursued in a Government recognized Institute and must lead to the Degree in Bachelor of Education of Government recognized University.


Application must be supported with S.S.C. , H. S.C. & Degree marks sheet.


The decision of the Academy in selection of scholarships will be final.

Overview:
The Sir Dorabji Tata Trust and J.R.D. Tata Trust offer scholarships for undergraduate studies in India according to the defined selection criteria for the year.

Application Procedure:
Online applications are invited for the scholarship programme which is announced on the website for a brief period in September / October every year. Interested students are requested to visit the website for more information on the guidelines and criteria.
The scholarship programme for the year 2013-2014 will commence from 19th September 2013.   
The form will be available to the students for 
viewing purposes only, 
on 19th September and 20th September 2013.

Scholarships

The Narotam Sekhsaria Foundation is offering engineering scholarships to BE/BTech students applicable only to the Mumbai colleges included in the scholarship programme for the academic year 2013-14. 


EXCELLENCE AWARD & CERTIFICATES OF MERIT
One Excellence Award of Rs 1,00,000/- and two Certificates of Merit of Rs. 50,000/- each are offered to outstanding students from the final year engineering students of those engineering colleges included in the scholarship programme

Criteria for Merit
The criteria for deciding merit include the marks obtained at examinations and the candidate’s overall performance at co-curricular and extra-curricular activities during the entire course

Attested copies of all mark sheets and certificates in support of your educational qualifications
Attested copies of MHT-CET/AIEEE/IIT-JEE Score cards
Attested copies of Award letters of scholarships/ awards/ prizes received

MERIT- CUM - MEANS SCHOLARSHIPS
100 scholarships upto a maximum of Rs.30,000/- each to be awarded to the undergraduate students of the engineering colleges included in the scholarship programme across all the four years

Eligibility Criteria
a)     Candidates in the first year of the BE/BTech programme must have obtained 85% and above aggregate marks in Class XII.
b)    Candidates in the 2nd, 3rd and 4th year of the BE/ BTech must have obtained 70% and above aggregate marks in the previous year.
c)     Gross family income of candidate must be less than Rs. 50,000/- per month.
d)    Overall meritorious performance of candidates.

Sir Ratan Tata Trust Scholarship


Scholarships: 
The Trust awards merit scholarships to students pursuing undergraduate and post-graduate studies in India. The objective of the programme is to encourage outstandingly meritorious / deserving students to pursue academic excellence. 

The Enrollment for the 
Sir Ratan Tata Trust Scholarship begins this September:

Forms issued:September 18, 19 and 20, 2013
Last date of submission:September 30, 2013
Timings:10.30 a.m. to 12.00 noon.
(Trust Office is closed on Saturdays and Sundays)

For the financial year 2013 -14, scholarship forms from the Trust Office will be issued to the following course of study only:

Terms & Conditions for applying:

Students will NOT be issued forms if:
(a) The student is waived from paying tuition fee;
(b) The student has already received full scholarship from trusts / organisations;
(c) The student is receiving a stipend
All students who have passed their 12th (HSC) and have secured admission to the 1st year architectural or LLB (five year) courses are NOT eligible for the scholarship.
No forms will be issued to students studying diploma, part-time, correspondence or certificate courses.
Only one student per family may benefit from the scholarship, each year.
The Sir Ratan Tata Trust awards scholarships to students studying in India coveringtuition fee only at the undergraduate or postgraduate level.
Hostel and other fee are not covered under the scholarship.
Travel Grants: 
Travel grants are provided to the students proceeding for post-graduate and doctoral studies and for professionals proceeding for their mid-career programmes or to attend relevant and meaningful seminars and conferences abroad.
The grant to students consists of only a partial international airfare from India to the university / organisation abroad. The students proceeding for fall session (July, August and September) are requested to submit their personal application to the Trusts, after finalising the university they intend to join. The last date for applying to the Trusts is May 31 every year. Students proceeding abroad for the spring session are requested to contact the Trusts three / four months prior to their departure, after finalising the university.
The grant to professionals offers partial travel assistance towards return international airfare and visa fees. Professionals are requested to apply three / four months prior to their departure.
A travel grant application can be made with the following documents
A written application from the student / professional
Statement of purpose
Updated resume
In case of students, confirmed admission letter from the university abroad stating details of admission (no email accepted)
In case of professionals, letter of invitation from organisers (no emails accepted), along with letter of leave of absence from employers
Also, mention the mode of presentation - oral / poster (Applicable for individuals travelling for conferences)
Recent pay slip/s of all earning members in the family
The Trusts maintain an egalitarian and professional approach in granting the various forms of financial assistance to individuals. Hence it may be noted that awarding financial assistance to individuals is at the discretion of the Trusts and the decision made in this respect is final.

Shri Brihad Bharatiya Samaj offers Scholarships for the Indian students and overseas students of Indian origin, undergoing full-time Degree courses in Indian Universities and IITs.

The Trustees of Shri Brihad Bharatiya Samaj invite applications from students of Indian Nationality of the S.K. Patil Loan Scholarships for higher studies abroad in Engineering, Technology, Medicine and similar Professional Courses. If you are looking for scholarship on Medicine courses like MBBS, BDS, Ayurved and Homeopathy you may apply for Shri Brihad Bharatiya Samaj scholarships. On the basis of merit the 200 no of students will be selected for the award of Scholarships .

Eligibility for Shri Brihad Bharatiya Samaj Scholarships 2012

1. Minimum of 70% marks for First year students
2. Rest with minimum 60% marks in their last University examination.
3. Female students studying in first year and above for Nursing and Education [minimum of 45% marks] are eligible.
4. Guardian’s total annual income should not exceed 60,000
5. Applicants should satisfy the following conditions:
a) They must possess a First Class degree with a recognized Indian University and have consistently First Class academic record right from SSC examination.
b) They must have secured admission, or should have at least applied for admission, in reputable foreign universities.
c) The age of students at the time of application should not be above 27 years.

Annual income should be Less than Rs.60,000/- and Students in receipt of Scholarships from the Central Government Scholarships in India or State Government Scholarships in India or University Scholarships in India, Colleges Scholarships in India will not be eligible.
Candidates studying in the Final Year of the degree are also eligble to apply provided they produce their final year certificate before end of June.

You can send Xerox of income certificate and last year marksheet along with self addressed envelope (Rs. 10 stamp stick on it).
Then they will post application form.
